Issued by CyberHost Technologies LLP, operating under the brand name and registered trademark THECYBERHOST. This policy also serves as the notice required under Sections 5 and 6 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who we are — the Data Fiduciary

2. Exactly what data we collect, and why

We collect each category below for a specific, stated purpose. We do not collect data "for general purposes" and we do not bundle unrelated purposes into a single consent.

We do not collect your card number, CVV, bank credentials or UPI PIN. Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway; those details go to the gateway and never to us.

3. Consent, and how to withdraw it

We obtain your consent through an explicit, affirmative action — you submit the enquiry form yourself, after being told on that form exactly what you are agreeing to. We do not use pre-ticked boxes, and we do not treat browsing the site as consent to be contacted.

You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing the Grievance Officer below. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent. Withdrawing consent stops future processing; it does not make past lawful processing unlawful.

4. Who we share data with

We share the minimum necessary data with the following categories of processor:

• Analytics and advertising platforms — Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel, for measurement and advertising attribution.
• Communication tools — email and WhatsApp Business services used to contact you.
• Payment gateway — to process your enrolment payment.
• Cloud hosting and storage — where enquiry records are stored.
• Bot protection — Cloudflare Turnstile runs on our enquiry and call-booking forms to confirm a submission comes from a real browser rather than an automated script. It receives technical signals from your browser for that check only. It does not use cookies to track you across websites and is not used for advertising.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

5. Cross-border transfer

Some of the services above store or process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, transfers are made in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and any restrictions notified by the Central Government.

6. How long we keep your data

• Enquiries that do not convert — retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted.
• Enrolled participants — retained for the duration of the programme and for as long as required afterwards to support certificate verification and to meet statutory record-keeping obligations.
• Analytics data — retained per the retention settings of the platform concerned.
• Session recordings — retained for as long as we operate the Programme, so that enrolled Participants keep lifetime access to the recordings of their batch.
• Enrolment, payment and support records — retained for eight years after your last transaction, to meet statutory record-keeping obligations and to allow us to respond to any dispute, chargeback or grievance.

Where you withdraw consent and there is no other lawful basis to keep the data, we erase it.

6a. Live session recordings

Live sessions are recorded. Recordings are part of the Programme: they are how enrolled Participants revisit a class, and how we review what was actually taught if a question is later raised about it.

• What is captured — the trainer's screen and audio, the shared class chat, and the audio or video of any Participant who chooses to speak or switch on their camera.
• Your control — you are never required to switch on your camera or microphone. You can participate in writing throughout. If you speak or appear on camera, you are choosing to be recorded at that moment.
• Who can see them — recordings are released only to Participants enrolled in that batch, and to our own trainers. They are not published, sold or shared with third parties.
• Why we keep them — to provide lifetime access to your batch's recordings, and as a record of what was delivered. Where a refund request, chargeback or grievance is raised, the relevant recording, attendance log and asset-issuance record may be relied on to establish what was actually provided.
• Your rights still apply — you may ask us to remove your own voice or image from a recording. Where removal is technically possible we will do it. Where it is not, we will tell you plainly and explain the alternative.

Access to recordings is personal and non-transferable. Recording, downloading, re-sharing or redistributing Programme recordings is prohibited and may result in access being withdrawn.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
• Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, and outdated data updated;
• Have your data erased where it is no longer needed and no law requires us to keep it;
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity;
• Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unsatisfied with our response.

To exercise any of these, email the Grievance Officer. We respond within 48 hours and resolve within one month.

8. Children

The programme is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted transmission. No system is completely secure; in the event of a personal data breach we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India as required.

10. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for the site to function, and analytics and advertising cookies to measure our campaigns and improve the page. These are set when you visit the site. We do not currently offer an in-page control to switch them off; you can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our processing changes or as the DPDP Rules are brought further into force. The current version is always published on this page with its last-updated date.
